One More Day

Down cast and broken, falling to the sea,
I cross the muddy river, searching for the key
Never to accept it,defeat will set me free,
and break the chain of freedom, from around
the broken tree.

Cast towards the water, the stone will skip a
beat. Like the heart of someone waiting ,for
the answer to defeat.

Beyond the ridge of skyline , towards the
break of day,A song bird sings in mourning,
of the death,of one more day.

All wrapped, in whispered moments.
A time to stand still, and listen to the
whispers,of the past that echo still.
In silence,cries of something,whisper come
this way, and cross this ancient bridge,
towards another day.
